This is an absolute classic LP from this incredible band. An astonishing album that really should be in every serious 60's / 70's record collection
What makes this copy special however is that it's in MONO! The mono copies of this album are very rare and this is one of the rarest commercially available 60's Rolling Stones albums.
Listen for the prison door slamming on the start of "We Love You". This track was a tribute to the stones fans who supported them when they were arrested for "drugs". I beleive that Paul McCartney and John Lennon also provided backing vocals on this track.
The album is generally in very good condition but on side 1 there is a mark at on track 6 “We Love You” which results in some “clicks” early on in this track. There is also a mark on track 4 “Lets Spend the Night Together” but playing is unaffected. On side 2 there is a light scuff mark across tracks 3 and 4 but again playing is not affected.
The original “red” inner sleeve is in excellent condition with lots of useful tips on how to look after your equipment etc. The outer octagonal sleeve has some slight wear marks around the edges and a small scuff mark but is in general in very good condition. On the rear of the sleeve is the famous “hole” which shows the “red mono” label of the inner sleeve.
Tracks: Jumpin' Jack Flash, Mother's Little Helper, 2000 Light Years From Home, Let's Spend The Night Together, You Better Move On, We Love You, Street Fighting Man, She's A Rainbow, Ruby Tuesday, Dandelion, Sittin' On A Fence, and Honky Tonk Women..
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
