✨ TIME‑WARPED • NEAR‑MINT • RARE VINTAGE EXAMPLE ✨


UK Decca SKL 4733 1W/1W -

This record comes from a carefully stored collection and genuinely looks as though it’s been played once or twice. The sleeve is in superb condition with no fading whatsoever.

The opening edge has been neatly secured with Sellotape — a very common practice in the 1960s to protect the sleeve from wear. With a little lighter fluid, the tape can be removed cleanly, leaving the cover effectively mint.

Please study the photographs closely, as items in this sort of condition are extremely hard to come by. Were it not for the tape, I would confidently grade the sleeve mint.

A truly lovely, time‑capsule piece for any discerning collector.

Original 1965 UK The Rolling Stones – Out Of Our Heads LP on the dark blue Decca “ffss” label (SKL 4733). This is the first UK stereo pressing, identified by the 1W/1W matrix pair and deep-groove labels. Produced by Andrew Loog Oldham, it features early Stones classics including “Heart of Stone,” “I’m Free,” and their soulful renditions of “Mercy Mercy” and “Hitch Hike.” A key mid-60s Decca issue capturing the band’s transition from R&B roots to rock superstardom. Highly collectible early stereo copy with strong playback and authentic first press identifiers.
