Description

Up for auction is a set of four import LPs by the Rolling Stones, three from France and one from Japan. Back in 1976, my brother found the three French LPs in a record shop in London. They apparently were part of a French series of albums. Each jacket was laminated front and back and featured great color photos of the Stones. Inside each gate-folded sleeve were more photos and text (alas in French) He bought these just for the pictures, as we already had the songs on each record. As a result, I don't think the vinyl was ever played. Each record certainly looks as though it has never seen the needle's edge. The only really noticeable flaw is a small dent on the lower right hand corner of one of the album jackets. The fourth album comes from Japan. Both the jacket and vinyl have seen some wear but I do not see any nasty cuts or major scratches. The inside of the gate-fold is mainly in Japanese. Again, this album was purchased for the great color photos on the front and back.

These records would make a fine addition to any Stones fan's collection especially for those who prefer the Brian Jones-era.
