Ultra Rare, Rolling Stones - 'out of our heads' - 1978 Mexico vinyl 12" stereo reissue
This is from my own collection, which I bought when I was touring Mexico and the USA in 1980, and I have only recently realised how rare it is, especially in such excellent condition. It has hardly ever been played (I usually taped my vinyl for everyday use) so it is in excellent condition. I have listened through the whole album and it plays really well, I have graded it as Near Mint as I only heard one very minor fault - a slight crackle in the opening seconds of side A. Other than that the music all plays beautifully with only the odd slight crackle in the gap before the start of some tracks.
When I bought it it came with a polythene inner sleeve which is much softer than a paper or card sleeve and much less likely to cause scratches. But when I read about polythene inners marking the vinyl I checked it and there are some wavy patterns visible on the otherwise excellent surface (please see photos). However, these are not at all audible and do not affect the playback. To be safe, as the record is so rare, I transferred the vinyl into a 'MoFi Original Master Sleeve' which is specially designed to be archive quality, anti-scratch etc. I will supply the vinyl in this high quality inner but I will also include the original poly inner which I have kept. It is possible that the vinyl will have picked up some dust when I took the photos. If you have any questions please ask.
The cover is in excellent condition (no tears or writing) but obviously shows some signs of age and wear - please see my photos as they from part of the description. I have taken a lot of photos so that you can see the faults. It is possible to see the outline of the vinyl through the cardboard sleeve. The sleeve of these albums have an unusual texture - I think the colour cover was stuck onto the cardboard sleeve rather than directly printed on so that's why the texture is bumpy, the pictures may not align perfectly with the sleeve and there may be one or two slight creases in the print.
I will package orders well and send them tracked, using eBay's buyer protection system for your peace of mind.
I think that if you want to buy multiple orders it is best to put them in a basket before paying for them so that eBay calculates the postage once for the whole order.
