THE ROLLING STONES - 'THE ROLLING STONES'
This early German pressing of their debut album dates from 1964 on the red & gold Decca label: BLK 16 300-P
Both the side 1 label and cover list 'Mona' as track 4 on side 1
Machine stamped matrix numbers: XARL 6271-II X & XARL 6272-II X
'MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY' is also machine stamped into both run-outs
Vinyl weight: 147g
The disc is housed within a semi-gloss German printed cover but retains the 'MacNeill Press' credit on the rear panel

Both are clean with a small number of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole and unworn gold print.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are very clean and retain a strong deep-gloss shine. There are numerous light wispy paper-type hairlines, mostly on side 2, but these are superficial and not feelable or affect play. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp does nothing more than amplify these minor blemishes adding no further significant marks or wear.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This copy appears to have received minimal play on good equipment as the sound quality is extremely clean & unworn throughout. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of light vinyl background between tracks but no clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction on this enjoyable, high-quality sounding disc.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & correct example of this easily worn cover which retains an unworn striking front panel beaing just a few small 'thumbnail' wrinkles and an unavoidable light disc impression. There is a 1cm split to the lower right corner but all others are in nice shape. The front opening edge is clean & unworn but there are two a 1cm (approx.) tears to the rear edge. The rear panel itself is otherwise clean & pristine white and free from any writing or missing paper.
Both seams are unsplit and the spine is fully worded, just with a 1cm stress midway down
