Description
Rolling Stones,Around And Around,LP, Catalogue Number: (BLK 16315-P), Cover Details: Standard sleeve with a Plain inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: less than very good condition. Please see pictures and description.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.
Any Other Details: Extremely rare original very early German mono pressing. There are three slightly different red and gold original pressings of this LP, the labels on this copy have the Decca logo at the top with a rectangular box around it, the text around the label rim is different as well. This record has been listen to and on our record player it played without any jumps or sticks, it is heavily marked all over. Side one has crackles and quite a few pops and ticks, none of which over power the music. Side two track one has several short scraping sounds, track two has a lot of ticks, the rest of side two plays with light crackles and ticks again none of them are destroying the music. These early 1960's pressing were made to last. The sleeve is glossy but not laminated, it has a 6cm bottom seam split starting at the opening edge and a 2cm top seam split also beginning at the opening. The opening edge has feathering and creases on both sides, the back also has a 1cm tear. There is a water mark at the bottom on the back. The back cover has 'Langspielplatte' printed on it, some of the early sleeves do not have this. Although this record plays throughout without many problems it may be best suited as a filler
