Description

This is the ultra rare MONO release 'Beggars Banquet' by the worlds greatest rock 'n roll band of all time.This is an early UK pressing from 1968. It is on the unboxed silver and red ungrooved FFrr (Full Frequency Range Recording) Decca label with the 'JT' tax code stamped in the deadwax run off area. The catalog number is LK4955. The side 1 stamped run off code is XARL-8476-4A. The side 2 stamped run off code is XARL-8477-3A. This record was pressed in very limited quntity and is difficult to find in this nice shape. The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition. It has a few hairline scratches and a few visible marks but plays beautifully with very limited noise and no skips. The sound is quite different and superior sounding from the stereo version in the opinion of most. The labels are gorgeous. Side 1 has absolutely no visible spindle marks while side 2 has a few that are barely visible. It has the original plastic lined inner sleeve. The gatefold cover is in nice shape with hardly any ring where and quite clean. There are a few scratches on the front cover that are visible if held in light. What else can I say. This is a great listen and a great piece of recording history that will only get harder and harder to find. Bid with confidence. Item is as described. Feel free to ask any questions.
