Description
Here for auction is an original UK copy of "Beggars Banquet",released in 1968 on Decca LK 4955.......That's the mono code and it has the matrices: side 1. XARL - 8476 - 4A and side 2. XARL - 8477 2A. Mother stamps side 1. 1UC side 2. 1U.
Vinyl is in EX condition.A nice copy with only a couple of light nail scuffs which don't sound at all.Very clean when viewed in bright light.There are no surface type marks that produce unwanted crackle etc.....There is a small scratch (hardly noticeable) that starts right at the end of "Street Fighting Man".This gives about 9 tics but most of them sound between the run in grooves between this track and the next "prodigal Son".So only three or four tics sound at the end of track 1 which is fairly minor I would say......,Soundwise the record is really excellent.It plays without distortion,sounding clear and fine.The surface is nice and quiet,even in softer passages with just the odd light sound here and there......It seems the record has not been played too much or on poor equipment and also lies flat.It's not warped or kinked.........What else can I say except if you want a nice copy this is it.
Original mono Cover/sleeve is in EX condition......Still clean and neat with only minor wear../////.Label's EX.Has spindle marks on either side which are not heavy.There are no other problems with the label's.
Comes with original inner sleeve in EX cond.
