Rollins Band - The End of Silence 2 x Vinyls Europe 1992. You can tell these records haven’t been played or handled much as the labels and vinyl are in very good condition, the vinyl remains very shiny, the labels are clean with few marks around the spindle holes. However, it is scratched in two places which I have managed to photo. Side 1 - The scratch in the first vinyl photo, it runs 90 degrees to the edge. The other mark to its left on the following track is a fingernail mark. The second vinyl photo shows a quarter inch scratch towards the end of the last track on side 4. Opposite to the scratch on side 1 are three small marks. I have looked at them with a magnifying glass and cannot decide if they are artefacts from the pressing or scratches from a possible dropped stylus - there also appears to be a mark at the run in to the side near these so maybe they are from the stylus…. either way they don’t interfere with the sound. I played the record today to check - There are a few hairlines on the vinyls but these don’t interfere with the playing and proved impossible to photo. You can see them when caught in the light at the proper angle but disappear if the record is moved slightly. I gave up trying to get a photo. The label on side 2 is slightly turned over, an artefact from the pressing. The cover is very good with no marks or labels. The corner edges have minimal wear, I’d say 2mm where handling/storage has slightly roughed them, but not noticeable unless looked at closely. The original inner sleeves are unmarked and with no tears. I know that photos can sometimes make vinyl, when under artificial light, appear to be shiny and clean when infact it isn’t but these vinyls really are exactly as they appear in my photos. Sides 3 and 4 have been played very few times Average price for the 15 copies of this record on D’cogs is over £200 but I’m starting at £80 because this is the price eBay recommended to start with. It’s not to reflect that the album is below average condition because it isn’t. It’s 30 years old this year and I doubt it’s been played 30 times. All four of the labels remain in pristine condition - very difficult to keep white paper labels in such condition if the records are regularly handled and played Postage will be 1st class, tracked and signed delivery
