GATEFOLD SLEEVE --- comped by Egon on Psych Funk 101
If you've been looking for the soundtrack featured in the Youtube video "Killer Drum Break, Soundtrack (USSR, 1974)", than look no further. This is the insanely rare Russian soundtrack from that film, "Romance For Lovers". This record has quickly become a cult classic along the same lines as "Les Gants Blancs Du Diable" and "Original Popcorn". This record was brought to light by worldwide digger DJ Sheep, and one song was recently comped by Egon on the "Psych-Funk 101" album.
Super hard to find this album, especially with a gatefold sleeve (like the one in this auction). This is an original 1st issue (with a green label). Aside from the track highlighted in the Youtube video, there is one other insane Psych instrumental on this record. Both songs featured in the soundclip are performed by Melodia Ensemble, the USSR's state band. There are also one or two more chill drama samples on here but they are not on the soundclip.
