RARE 1964 THE RONNETTS "WALKING IN THE RAIN" & "HOW DOES IT FEEL?" ORIGINAL 1964 PICTURE SLEEVE WITH 1ST PRESSING 1964 PHILLES RECORDS 45 RPM RECORD.

This picture sleeve in in NM to NM- condition. There is only one very small flaw. It has a tiny (1/16th of an inch) tear on the top right of the sleeve where the record would get inserted, It looks brand new even though it is 61 years old. There are no creases, tears, holes, or seam splits. It would be PERFECT if not for the 1/16th inch tear. There is extremely light record ring wear on the front of the picture sleeve but it can only be seen if you hold it to a light source and make the light source glare off of it. This is very common with all vintage picture sleeves because they were originally purchased with the record inside the sleeve. All serious picture sleeve/record collectors remove the records from the sleeves to prevent further damage and store the record in a different generic sleeve. This is obviously the case with this rare picture sleeve.
You will see these "Ronettes" picture sleeves on eBay but they are reproductions. THIS IS NOT one of them. I STRESS...THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. VERY RARE! EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION.
The 1st pressing Philles 45rpm record (Monarch Pressing) is in Vg+ to Ex- condition. It is bright and glossy on the "Walking In The Rain" - A side, with a few paper scuffs and/or very light scratches. The B side, "How Does It Feel" is bright and glossy but also has more paper scuffs and/or very light scratches. The record does not skip. The label are Ex++.
The record plays through on both sides very cleanly. No white noise, pops, or skips. The very light scratches (probably scuff marks from the 60's when the record was placed and removed from the picture sleeve do not affect play. There is no noise in the beginning (before the grooves and record begins playing nor either side of the end (run out).
Again, the Picture Sleeve is the rarity. Philles Records did not produce many of these picture sleeves and to find one in this condition is very difficult.  
This is a rare picture sleeve for the serious collector. This is only going to increase in value.

All records have been removed from the Picture Sleeves and placed in a separate paper sleeve. They are then placed in a poly record bag for future protection and wear.
