Ronnie Fuller "Do The Dive"/"The Big Hurt Of It All" Joli 074 45 RPM 1965
Issued on the tiny Joli record label in Hollywood, California and produced by Jonny Baron, "Do The Dive" is a rare and collectible surf rock single which can sell for well over $100 in nice shape.
The bad news is this isn't in great shape. There is some fading and discoloration on the labels (see photos) and some surface marks. Some may grade this is as VG or VG- but we would conservatively call it G+ (good plus). There is a slight storage warp that does not affect play. The good news is that it has been VPI cleaned and has a moderate amount of shine, no skips and no persistent pops.
Provenance: This record was originally owned by disc jockey and program director Ken Rapoza and was in the archives of one of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island stations he worked at in the 1960s including WNRI or WPEP.
After Ken was killed in a 1987 accident, this record was inherited by another Massachusetts collector who owned it until his death in 2024.
