Description
This is a very rare single by Ronnie Hawkins entitled, "Down in the Alley" recorded on the Hawk label. The B Side of this record is "Home From The Forest". The record is in excellent condition and plays great. There is some light wear on the label and some light wear (light scratches, etc) on the record. It was recorded in 1970 on Hawk Records, IT302. As far as I know, only a handful of copies were printed on this label. This information came from an article about Ronnie Hawkins, wherein he is quoted as saying this. After researching this rare single, I was able to find out that Duane Allman plays guitar on the release and it was recorded by John Lennon in 1969. The record was made during a time when Lennon and Hawkins had a personal relationship and Ronnie was active in John Lennon and Yoko Ono's campaign for peace.
