My auctions this round are many classic LPs mostly from the 1960s and early 1970s. Please check my other auctions for an LP that may catch your eye.

 

Here’s an LP that has indeed become tough to find these days.

 

In this auction is:

 

·       “G.T.O.” by Ronny and the Daytonas.

·       This LP was released in 1964.

·       This is Mala Records 4001.

·       It is a MONO Pressing. (This LP was only released in Mono.)

·        I suppose you can call Ronny and the Daytonas an east-coast version of the Beach Boys. Their hit single “G.T.O.” caught the attention of teenagers from coast to coast and created a loyal following for a few years. The band released only 2 LPs on Mala Records, “G.T.O.” and “Sandy”, and these are the most desirable to collectors.

·       In this auction is a nice copy of “G.T.O.”.

·       The COVER is graded STRONG VG CONDITION. There is slight wear on the front and rear covers. The cover images, both front and rear are very nice (Check images.) The primary wear is on the top and bottom seams and the spine. There is wear on all 4 corners (which are “bald”). There are NO seam splits. This primarily black front cover slick was notorious for showing wear very easily even from minimal use. But this cover has only slight wear on the black area near the top.

·       The VINYL is in STRONG VG CONDITION. There are light hairlines/scuffs and still lots of gloss.

·       It’s an LP that will make a WONDERFUL addition to any vinyl collection!
