Roosevelt Holts - Presenting the Country Blues

Blue Horizon 7-63201 [1968]

One of the first blues LPs I bought back in the late '60s (the 7th, to be exact).

I reinforced the edges of the cover with Sellotape when I bought it many years ago - this is not made to last over 30 years, the glue has hardened and the clear tape has mainly come away, leaving a residue of the glue. There are two small sticker saying 'vol one' and '7' at the top left of the front. The back of the cover has been rubber stamped 'enclosure' in a star shape about half inch across and has 'BLUE HOGS' hand written in ball point pen but otherwise is in pretty good condition, considering it's age.

The record has has also been rubber stamped 'enclosure' in a star shape on both sides and has 'Blue Hogs' written in ball point pen on side one. It has been well-played (it was one of my favouites at one time) and there a number of surface marks. Both labels have what appears to be finger marks from being frequently handled.
