Roosevelt Holts ? "Presenting The Country Blues" Blue Horizon 7-63201 UK 1st press.
Mono Vinyl, LP, released in 1968.
The vinyl has one or two surface marks, but plays through beautifully on my stereo - no hop, stick or pops. The sleeve is in good condition with minimal signs of use. The spine is intact and completely legible. Matrix/Run Out Side 1 : 7-63201-A1 Matrix/Run Out Side 2 : 7-63201-B1
Roosevelt Holts was one of the few successful blues musicians who never resided in Europe, but was widely recognized by numerous UK blues groups, such as Fleetwood Mac and Chicken Shack. Through the guidance of Tommy Johnson, Holts became a prominent blues rocker despite the fact that he became physically disabled after he had an accident while he worked at a paper mill job. Babe Stovall played the guitar in the song 'Feelin' Sad And Blue' and L. H. Lane played the harmonica in the song 'The Good Book Teach You'.
