Description
From my personal collection I am offering an original copy of Rory Gallagher’s ninth album. Produced by Rory and Alan O’Duffy. It is an original first UK pressing with earliest Variant 1 A3/B3 matrices and earliest “1” to “1” Mother Stampers. Released in 1978 it marked a turning point in Rory’s career. Most of the songs were recorded on what was to be an earlier album called “Torch” but he was not happy with the recordings. Having fired the drummer and keyboard player he reverted to a power trio with a new drummer. The title was derived due to just achieving the deadline for completion. He recorded many of the songs in San Francisco.
This is my original copy and, as always, I will provide as much information as possible for the benefit of buyer and seller. If you have any questions please contact me before bidding. Having play graded the album I am classifying it as EX as there are no problems with it. The labels are unmarked and there is very little spindle wear. The runouts are stamped except for STRAWBERRY in all variants is etched.

Although there is a little wear on the edges and on the spine the outer cover is unmarked with no folds or creases (please see photos) and the printed photo inner sleeve is in excellent condition. I have used a new protective inner sleeve to look after the vinyl. This is a great opportunity to own an original copy of the album. Thank you for looking.
