Description
Original early 50's Red and gold Nipper labels Rosalyn Tureck in the Bach Goldberg Variations on ALP 1548/9. This might just edge it as the greatest recorded account of the pianists holy grail of the 20th century. Tureck more than most pianists devoted herself to Bach, and the years of experience plus her razor sharp intellect delivers here a reading that is in places playful, sublime and breathtaking. How very nice to have this clean orginal issue in your collection.
Fully laminated curved cut flipback sleeves are Near Mint , record surfaces and labels a full near mint also. Looks ot have been played very little over the past 50 years.
1st issue, 1st type of pressing, thick vinyl. Near Mint playing surfaces, no marks of any nature.
