This outstanding and handsome LP – a still-sealed copy – from Vox (STPL 512.760, US pressing, label iteration uknown – presumably, purple/silver label, stereo) entitled “Aaron Rosand plays the music of Pablo de Sarasate” features the great virtuoso in the finest album devoted to the legendary Spanish violinist since Ruggiero Ricci’s famous mono Decca record.

Recorded with pianist Michal Walevski in May 1964, Rosand plays with dazzling panache and sun-lit insouance.

The brilliant liner notes are by Rosand himself, provided in English only. The striking cover photo of Rosand is uncredited.

CONDITION:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the jacket is near-MINT. Although this is a genuinely still-sealed copy, there is minor wear to the upper-right corner. However, there are no seamsplits, owners’ markings, bends, or other defects and the album remains extremely solid, bright, and attractive – a very fine collector’s copy.

The condition of the LP is MINT. This is a still-sealed, unplayed copy – the ideal collector's copy.

This LP has been carefully cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve.
