Rosco Gordon Flip/Sun # 237 The Chicken 78 RPM Record - Rare Label Variation!

A nice example of the rarer version of this label. This was recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee by Sam Phillips. Records were released for a short time on both Sun and Flip, later discontinued due to legal action from another Flip label.

Record plays well. Some surface noise, typical of all Sun issued records. Some light scratches, scuffs, etc. Some paper loss on one side of label. A fine example, and a great addition for a Sun collection.
