Here is a real treat! It is a Promotional Copy, United Artists, UA 997 white label, of Rose St. John and the Wonderettes. The tunes are: "And If I had My Way" and "Mend My Broken Heart". The labels are both clean with no names written on them. On the "Mend My Broken Heart" side, there is a small dark scuff above the second 9 (of UA 997) and below that there is a small bubble which also has a dark scuff on it. The address on the label at the bottom is "New York 19 N Y * Made in USA".
The numbers in the "dead wax" are:
On the "If I had My Way" side: Z t (not sure of t..bar only crosses on right)sp-106652 1E Triangle 60586x.
On the "Mend My Broken Heart" side it is the sme as above except -106652 " " "
I listened to both sides and it plays well. There is some "fuzziness" but it wasn't the record, it sounded like the actual recording. It plays great! There are some very light paper scuffs, but the vinyl is glossy and nice. A great 45rpm. I have "supersized" the photos so that you can see both the condition of the record and details for yourself.
Unless a record looks unplayed, I listen to it all the way through. My system is a mid grade system. Please note that although I try very hard to get good representative photos, the light here in Rainyville, isn't always helpful. Please ask questions before bidding.
