(Decca SXL 2298 UK LP 1962)
This is an original UK Stereo pressing in great overall condition! It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has an extremely thin spine. The "spine" text is on the rear sleeve next to the spine. It comes with its original polythene-lined generic "FFSS" Stereophonic company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & silver ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By.." text on them. It has 1st press ZAL-5296-3W and ZAL-5297-3W matrix numbers.
This is a genuine UK 1st pressing with the earliest matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP in great overall condition too. Sleeve: There is a very small crease in the top corner tip area at the spine. There is mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not that noticeable. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Very Good++ condition.
Vinyl: It looks to be hardly played! It still gleams like new! There are a very few light or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These are mainly on the dead wax areas. They can hardly be seen under a strong light. A strong EXCELLENT+ condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall, & Near Perfect to Perfect in many places. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle at the start of both sides. This eases out very quickly. A superb audio copy!

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this.
NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.
EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...
NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing,ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.
Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!

All records will be sent in high quality packaging. All records will be extremely carefully & securely packaged to ensure safe arrival to you. The dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment. I always remove the inner/ LP from the sleeve & place them, with the sleeve, in a polythene outer sleeve. This will prevent seam splits to the sleeve during the shipping process. I often remove the vinyl from the original inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your records.
