Description

Here for auction is an original copy of Rostropovitch & Richter playing the " Complete Sonatas For Cello & Piano" by Beethoven....It's a 2 LP box set with "Hi-Fi Stereo" label's..

This set is an ex UK library copy and has some sticker's inside box and on label's which I will describe.

Vinyl's. Overall the discs grade EX.

Disc 1.  Side 1 plays really nicely without problems. Side 2 has a little crackle at start but settles down and play's nicely soon afterwards.

Disc 2.  Side 3 has some crackle at start and a some marks giving some light intermittent tics, but nothing bad and I found I was not distracted from the music.Side 4 play's really well.

The actual sound reproduction was excellent....,Nice clear and undistorted sound with near silent background. The parts with some crackle should improve with more cleaning I would say.

Box is VG condition.Box has edges squashed and front edge taped, no library markings on outside.Inside there are some stamps on inside of box and  booklet. All can be seen in photo's.

Booklet VG+ with taped edge

Inner sleeves are plastic library one's and not original.

Label's .Three label's have stamps (seen in photo) and the other sides free of marks.

A full refund offered on all items./////.Feel free to check out my other e-bay items running concurrently.
