Description
This is a VG+ condition, very rare, white label test pressing Roxy Music "Angel Eyes" 45. It was issued by Specialty Records U.S. for Atco Records in 1979. Test pressings were made in advance of regular pressings for quality control purposes. They were very selectively distributed to record label V.I.P.s and the artist and their management for approval. Very few were produced and most copies were destroyed. They were never made available to the general public. This single has "Angel Eyes" on the a-side and "My Little Girl" on the b-side. The white labels have information hand written in red ink. There is a date stamp on the a side "Jun 28, 1979". The record comes in a standard white paper sleeve. It has had one owner, a former record company executive who has had it filed away since 1979.
