Cover MINT-
The original thick card laminated gatefold sleeve is in really superb condition. No marks, indentations or writing. The inside is clean and bright with no stickiness along the edges. Barely any trace whatsoever of handling marks or age-related dulling, and the laminate has not peeled or bubbled, as is common on these covers. No discernible edge creasing or corner stubbing. Two very minor creases and just a hint of a little ring wear on the back when angled to the light, but that’s all. Closes evenly, clean and crisp opening edge, firm and strong wide spine with no squashing or rubbing, and fully legible text (see photos for detail). A stunning example of a 41 year old LP cover.
Inners MINT-
Comes complete with poly-lined blue & white inner with note on playing “stereophonic” records. Superb condition with virtually no creasing, and no edge splitting at all.
Labels EX
Flat, clear and free from any marks or smudging. All of the inks have retained their original depth. No cracking around the spindle hole, just a few spindle traces visible when angled to the light.
Vinyl EX
The heavy first pressing vinyl has retained its original sheen and finish. No scratches or marks. Just a few light hairlines and sleeve removal traces (more on side 2, barely any on side 1). The whole LP has been play tested at volume on a Project/Ortofon/NAD system with Bayerdynamic headphones. It sounds amazing! No skips, pops or jumps, note there is some background static, mainly in some of the quieter sections, and the lightest of static between some of the tracks, but overall it plays with superb sound quality throughout, a really great listen.
Any questions – please just ask.
SEE MY FEEDBACK AND BUY WITH CONFIDENCE
I have included the maximum of 12 high quality photos, taken in good light with a decent camera and from a variety of angles, so you can properly judge the detailed condition of the cover, inner and labels for yourself. Any significant marks or defects on these aspects of the LP will be clearly visible in the photos.
My own gradings are based on the standard record collector guidelines (see below).
I am not a record dealer, I am a 48-year old North London vinyl enthusiast re-creating my own private collection from a wide range of sources (having foolishly sold all my original LPs at a university record fair in my twenties!). I enjoy researching albums, and I am selling a small number of them on ebay, not to rip anyone off but just as a Sunday afternoon hobby. Please do ask if you want any more information about this LP before bidding.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase I will be very happy to give a refund (minus return postage) if the record is returned to me in the same condition within 14 days. Please message me immediately to resolve any concerns that you have and I will do my level best to help - I have 100% positive feedback and I would like to keep it that way. Thanks.
The LP will be securely packaged. It will be sent in a new polythene sleeve, together with two additional thick card inserts (one either side), set inside a new dedicated record mailer envelope. The vinyl will be separated from the cover to prevent any ring marking in transit. The package will be secured with thick tape and marked with additional large “FRAGILE” taped stickers twice on both sides.
Thanks for looking, and Happy Bidding!
POSTAGE
I send all my LPs tracked & signed, which provides added security for both buyer & seller.
All my listings end on a Sunday evening. I am happy to combine LPs into one package if they are won on the same day.
Note that most single LPs will weigh around 500g. Double LPs & single LPs with gatefold sleeves will weigh a little more.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING GUIDE
MINT: The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
