Description
Very rare and in-demand record from the infamous Project 3 label. The music is an assortment of compositions from 3 movies done by acclaimed director Dino De Laurentiis. The 3 films are The Valachi Papers, Crazy Joe and my personal favorite The Stone Killer (w/Charles Bronson). Respectively the composers are Riz Ortolani, Giancarlo Chiaramello, & Roy Budd. The LP is a fantastic array of epic soundtrack compositions, moody jazz numbers and straight break heavy deliriousness! Most notable to myself as a dj was the music from The Stone Killer. The whole second side of the album contains cut after cut of groovy soundtrack material. From percussive latin joints, to brassy funk cuts, to monster breaks, to string heavy colages. Do not sleep on this beast of a record. Proven dj and producer friendly. Have seen this one on the wall at your local vinyl peddlers for major dough! No reserve, holla at the soundtrack heat-o-rama!
