Roy Harper 2xLP Flashes from the archives of oblivion (1974) PROMO NM-/VG+
Factory sample album on Harvest Records (SHDW405) Gatefold vinyl double-LP (1974). I inherited this album from an ex-employee of EMI, who said this was meant to be a promotional sample to be issued for radio use.
The record has been play graded, and all tracks play with no loud clicks and no jumps. Very few crackles on just a few tracks on sides a) and b) of the first disc, but these are not intrusive, and even then I grade these tracks as EX+. The rest of the album plays perfectly with no crackles. Hence overall the record is graded NEAR MINT minus. The labels are clean with no writing or other blemishes. (Company stickers on the albums 'Factory Sample' etc, stuck onto labels).
The gatefold cover is non-laminated matt finish. The front has some ring wear on approx. one-third of the surface, on the rear ring-wear is similar in area. There is a tiny tear (approx. 0.25inch) just above the mid-point of the open edge. The inner gatefold surfaces have very little wear, near the top edge only. There are two creases on the rear surface (one 4inch, and two 2inch).The spine has some small wear marks, but the print is perfectly legible & overall the spine is EX. Both top and bottom edges have very little wear marks. Cover is graded VG+

PACKAGING: This item will be protected inside strong thick card. Records are placed in a new white polythene-lined inner sleeve, and packed separately from the record company cover to avoid splitting the seam.
