Description

Flat Baroque and Berserk - Roy Harper's classic LP, this is a UK 1st pressing on Harvest records, catalogue number SHVL 766. Later pressings have a boxed EMI logo on the labels, first pressings do not have this (see pics). Also has the H. Ash writer credit on the labels (get it?)
The matrix numbers are the earliest for this record:

  • SHVL 766 A-2
  • SHVL 766 B-2
Condition

  • The record grades as excellent (Ex). There are a few light marks which do not affect the audio. There's the occasional light crackle, but nothing serious. Even the quieter passages are really impressive.
  • The laminated sleeve is in excellent (Ex) condition. This is a lovely sleeve There is no ring wear or feathering. There are two creases visible on the rear cover on the opening edge and a couple of small surface marks on the inside of the gatefold. All of this is visible in the pics, so please take a look.
  • The record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine and placed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. The original inner is also included.
  • Both record and sleeve are in a new 450 gauge poly outer sleeve.

Records are securely packaged in a strong Defendapack record mailer, and UK postage includes tracked delivery and insurance. Records are removed from the sleeve before packing to prevent splits. 

I also offer local pick up in the East Sussex area.
