Description
Roy Orbison at the Rock House vinyl LP. Sun record label LP1260 Microgroove. Roy Orbison at the Rock House is the first album by Roy Orbison. This is an original vinyl pressing released in 1961 by Sun Records at a time when Orbison had already moved to the Monument label but had not yet put out an album. Sun Records owner Sam Phillips had a collection of songs Orbison had recorded at Sun between 1956 and '58.
Record is in G+ condition with visible scratches. Significant surface noise is evident upon playing, with pops and clicks but I enjoyed playing the record through without any skipping or repeating taking place. Record labels VG condition with some slight marks. Cover is in VG- condition with some wear and stains/discoloration, but is structurally intact with no split seams anywhere or cutouts. Inner sleeve is not original.
