Description

Sun Records 1260 - Roy Orbison 'At The Rock House' ORIGINAL lp!

The good news:

A strong VG+ cover with only a bit of discoloration and corner wear. There's about two millimeters of missing cardboard on the front at the opening, visible in the pictures. Nice and bright! Very nice copy.

Both labels look amazing, with very minimal spindle wear.

Vinyl retains lots of gloss, as the photo shows. The photo of the vinyl shows my reflection - not a discoloration.

Matrix A reads: Lp - SU - 135 MR (triangle) - 3925 Phillips (diamond) sm

Matrix B reads: LP - SU - 136 MR (triangle) - 3925 - X Phillips (diamond) sm

Both sides have been play tested and are conservatively graded VG - VG+. The sound is truly amazing! However...

The bad news:

Both sides have been around the block. Multiple surface marks and scratches. You always want these impossibly rare records to be Mint. Sometimes they are, but this one isn't.

Truly, this one looks worse than it sounds. No mistracking or skipping whatsoever, and surface noise is not at all overpowering - a very enjoyable listen.

I'm not putting a reserve on this auction and keeping the starting price very low. If I can answer any more questions about this incredible record, please feel free to ask. And please have a look at my other items for similar Roy Orbison gems.

Good Luck!
