Description

For sale here is an original 1961 Roy Orbison At the Rock House LP.   I am no expert, but have been collecting records for about 18 years and have about 800.  I am selling this one for my wife's uncle.
The Positives:
• the jacket is in very nice shape, I'm not about to throw out letter grades, but it is better than I would have imagined for it's age.  It does have a glossy front cover.  There are NO rips, tears, or splits in the jacket...nice legible title on the spine as well. • cleaned thoroughly on a Nitty Gritty mini-pro record cleaner. ($1200 machine) and put in a new poly sleeve.  Not dirty to begin with, but some fingerprints etc. • played a portion of every song and was pleased with the lack of popping and noise...that being said, there is definitely some, I'm just glad I had the ability to clean it properly. • not warped or rippled, goes around smoothly. • an actual auction!  NO RESERVE!  And a low starting bid.  I don't sell much, and believe people should be able to BID on an item.
The Negatives: • there are definitely surface scratches and scuffs on this record, (hard to show with the pictures).    • while the jacket is in pretty nice shape, there is a small water stain on the back, and the front side laminate is peeling a tiny bit at the opening edge.  Also a little bit of brown on 2 of the corners. • did come from a smoking home, I've tried to air it out a bit, but being a non-smoker, I know that is also a factor.
Again, I'm selling this for a relative and have tried to be as up-front as I can, hopefully this will be a nice addition to someone's collection.
Please contact me with any questions, I will try my best to answer them.  And PAYPAL is accepted.  Thank you for your time.   Jason
