Condition Description & Other Information ## Lonely and Blue is the debut studio album by Roy Orbison, released on London Records here in Australia in January 1961. Almost impossible to find with EX/NM Vinyl anywhere! ## The Vinyl is described as Excellent to Near Mint & played to Near Mint today, virtually no background interreference at all which is unheard of for vinyl from 1961, & obviously no skips or stops. Very few signs of play. Several spindle marks to both labels. Just a few extremely fine hairlines & near invisible sleeve marks. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described conservatively as VG to VG+. The cover itself is the UK Mono version... I think that it was substituted at point of sale as there were a lack of Australian covers. This substitution is far more common than most record collectors realise with many examples from RCA, Parlophone, London & many other labels. However, if this doesn't suit you please avoid bidding. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour losses to edges & spine. There are some areas of foxing to front & verso. No seam splits. Couple of minor stains here & there. Some shrink-wrap separation to top right hand corner front cover. Some heavy creasing to corners. Please see attached photos...
