Description
Signed/autographed copy of this hard-to-find 7" from the great Roy Orbison. As you can see, the record comes in one of those sleeves that many record shops used in the 50's and 60's. This one was for the 'chain' of shops owned by J.W. Thorne Ltd of Yorkshire.
Apparently, the person who obtained the signature (not me - a little before my time!) bought the record in April 1969 at the Batley branch of J.W. Thorne and managed to get it signed the following month when the Big 'O' played the legendary Batley Variety Club.
The sleeve itself is a little worse-for-wear and is torn on one side - thankfully not the side that features the signature. The signature itself, however, is in blue ink, very clear and is unmistakably Roy's signature.

Record: Around VG+/VG++. Plays well.
