Description
Here is a nice sun album from Roy Orbison "At The Rock House". This is an original Sun LP 1260 from 1962 and is a hard to find album. The songs on this album are all great and are as follows: I never knew / Its too late / sweet and easy to love / this kind of love / rock house / You're my baby / problem child / trying to get to you / ooby dooby / you're gonna cry / mean little mama / devil doll. The cover is in good condition with nice gloss on the front. It has some edgewear, corners bumped and a short split starting in each of the lower two corners. I had included a picture of the back and it has tape in the right upper corner (I see no reason for it to be there and it does not cover the edge). The top third has some soiling. The vinly is in good condition. It does have quite a few scuffs and scratches and there are several you can feel. It still retains a lot of its original gloss. It plays through fine with no skips. It has very little background noise, but you can hear a few pops now and then but it is not bad and never overpowere the music. The label on side 1 has DD written on it otherwise the labels are nice. Here is your chance to get a hard to find album that still plays very nice for a reasonable price. This comes from my personal collection and a smoke free home. check out my other auctions. thanks.
On Mar-18-07 at 15:33:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had emails saying this album was released in Nov. 1960. Goldmine shows 1961 and my Jerry Osborne price guide show 1962. The album is not dated but I know of only one release of this. It is a early type sun label on heavy vinyl.price rating
