Album notes A collection of classics from the old Elektra acts performed by current roster artists with a 50-page book by Lenny Kaye. Both The Cure and Jackson Browne do cover versions, as well as having their own songs covered by other artists.
The running times are 74:21 for disc 1 and 74:19 for disc 2.
The label's current artists cover its all-timers, e.g., The Cure meets The Doors. An interesting idea, it has sketchy results. ~ Dan Heilman
