My all-time favorite classical pianist, Artur Rubinstein was one of my heroes growing up and taking piano lessons - specifically because of this record set my family had.  I finally got to see him in real life, when I was a high school senior.  The concert was at Ellis Auditorium in Memphis, Feb. 2nd,1972.  He was mesmerizing, despite complaining to the press later that the quality of the Steinway piano was not to his liking (unresponsive, he called it).  He was 85 at the time, but you could never tell it from his performance.
Included in this one-of-a-kind record set is the full-size Memphis Concert booklet, marketing inserts, and the next-day Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper account of the performance on 2/2/1972.
The LPs are used, but lovingly and respectfully preserved in Very Good Condition, with the original RCA glassine LP envelopes and box.  There are no defects in the box or its contents and the LPs are genuine RCA Victor heavyweight LPs - no warps.
