Description

I am combining these records because the Serkin Album is very strong and I do not have the Anderson record cover, just the sleeve.  It seemed a good way to preserve the Anderson recording- same size etc.  As you know they were contemporaries, but Serkin was signed  to Columbia records, Masterworks Set X-237,  and Marian Anderson, our first black opera super-star recorded on RCA Victor. This is her marvelous contralto performance of Schubert's "Aufenthalt" 14210-B and "Ave Maria" 14210-A accompanied by Kosti Vehanen. I don't find this record anywhere else on eBay. I include a photo of the blue Serkin Cover as well as the inside jacket front and back with info.  The 2 record set features Beethoven's Sonata #14 in C-Sharp Minor, Opus 27, No. 2 commonly called "Moonlight".   I set this up to go media mail uninsured; however consider Insurance on media mail or parcel select OR USPS flat rate large legal envelope for $ 7.70?
