Rudolph Valentino Record BRUNSWICK Kashmiri Song / El Relicario 1923 78rpm
I have to preface this by saying that I am not an expert on old vinyl.
I played both sides of this record, and there were hisses and pops (static?) throughout it, but no skips or breaks in the recording. It was very listenable.
I have provided photos of both sides. Please take a look.
The record sleeve is original, and in good condition, except there is a 1" tear at the top on the back side.
This record was recorded in New York, on May 14th, 1923, at the Brunswick Recording Laboratories. It was the first recording of Rudolph Valentino's voice.
It is in English and Spanish. The first side is "KASHMIRI SONG" in English. The reverse is "EL RELICARIO" in Spanish.
I would say it is in pretty good condition for a 98 year old record.
