DESCRIPTION: Rue and The Rockets- I only want a love thats real/ 9 times out of 10. Mod/beat band that kicked off in the 60s and issue this sought after single in the early 80s during the powerpop/ new mod era. Very limited private pressing. YEAR: 1981 RECORD LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Northrock 005 COUNTRY: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/Plain white sleeve. . Vinyl is clean with a dark sheen.. Played A-side of this on my Pro-ject deck today. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds very good . Original plain white sleeve has tears, ill send it with a new sleeve as well. Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. THIS IS FROM A LARGE PUNK +2 TONE 7" COLLECTION I RECENTLY ACQUIRED. THEY ARE ALL UK ORIGINALS. THEY HAVE BEEN WELL LOVED AND PLAYED OVER THE YEARS. THEY WILL SUIT PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT A SINGLE TO PLAY AND A COVER TO LOOK AT. THEY ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR THE HALOGEN LIGHT BRIGADE. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
