Rufus Thomas LP Vinyl - Did You Heard Me?
First UK Pressing - Stax Records – 2362 028.
Outer sleeve - (VG+ - EX) - Outer sleeve is really nice and clean with some light creasing to the front of the cover, one large crease to the top right hand corner, slight creasing to the top left hand corner at the back of the sleeve. Slight creasing along the sides, very slight bumping to corners.
Inner sleeve - (VG+) - Inner sleeve is nice and clean for the most part. The plastic inside the paper sleeve is slightly squashed. Two folds but the inner sleeve is really nice and clean.
Vinyl - (VG to play VG+) - Visually graded under bright light.
Vinyl looks nice and clean for the most part with signs of several - many light looking surface scratches, hairlines which should not affect the vinyl playing well with the right stylus, set of decks, set up with the chance of some light distortion in places.
Side 1 is visually a VG but should play to a VG+ with the right set up and side 2 is cleaner so should easily play to a VG+ standard or higher with the right set up.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
