Description
Played once open copy of Rufus Wainwright's excellent LP Poses, only recently made available on vinyl.
Although it is opened, it is in exactly the same condition as from new. There are a (very) few blemishes, which I will list below.
Please note: I am an extremely conservative grader of LPs. I know what it is like to receive LPs which are not really as described so I try to be very specific. I do not grade any played record above very good because I feel it is dishonest.
Cover: Good Condition. Lp has been opened neatly on one side and is otherwise exactly as new. There are some small corner dings hidden behind the shrink wrap. They were like this from new and are "invisible" behind the shrink and unnoticeable in a plastic sleeve. There is also a pressure crease in the middle of the cover-bearely noticeable unless you are really looking at it.
Download card: Unused but this is from 2016 so I do not know if the code is still valid.
Discs:
Disc 1: Good condition. Record plays perfectly with no skips. I did note that in the very, very closing moments of the end of side 1, there is a small amount of momentary surface noise as the music fades to silence and goes into the dead wax. There are also one or two very low level clicks on the track Shadows but they were so low, I only noticed them because I was really listening to it. Other than that, the pressing is generally very good.
Disc 2: As new with minor occasional clicks (most likely dust). Both LPs do have little marks and scuffs from the paper sleeves.
Opportunity for a bargain; I don't care what it sells for, hope it goes to a good home.
