Description

Here is a great release on the Decca Gold Label stereo label (DXSE-7179). This is and original Gold Label pressing of violinist Ruggiero Ricci performing a variety of compositions on 15 famous violins created by the master violin makers of Cremona, including Stradivari, Del Gesu, Bergonzi, Da Salo and Andrea & Nicolo Amati. Accompanied by Leon Pommers. Includes a VG+ bonus comparison 7" 45 in which Ricci performs the same musical section on all 15 instruments. The gatefold jacket includes pages in the middle that are intact.

Condition - The jacket shows light wear including a small sticker on the front. The jacket grades at VG++. The record is shiny with signs of use including light marks and letters stamped on one label. The record grades at VG+. The bonus 7-inch record also grades at VG+.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
