Runaways Queens of Noise LP (w/insert)E-, Low Open Bid

 Greetings one and all to the latest of my ebay record auctions!  All are welcome here!  Bidders, lookers, faithful readers (you know I love you guys'n'gals!), stalkers, dealers...you are all welcome here!  I am here not to hype my prices, nor to tell you how flaming huge my record business is (what business? the one I work for?  You think they'd want me listing like this? )nor will I try and give you 6 pages of mailing information and how I adhere to the G*ldmine grading scale...by wording it to my own way of overpricing!  Nay, I say!  Mainly because, though I do work in the record business (some of you out there already know who), what I do here on ebay is my own stuff, my own way!  I'm not huge!  I mean, I could stand to lose a few pounds, but i'm not huge as in impersonal, too big to answer any questions,and definitely not too huge, nor full of myself to overprice things and not even give you a picture of it.  Nope.  I am just plain ol' me, I will offer a few pics, and I like starting bidding low, because that gives everyone a chance.  Let the market not just drive the price, but decide the price!  And if anyone doesn't like that.....just be the high bidder---and re-sell it at your prices, buddy! 
Yeah, so I did get a few nyah nyahs out there!  Why not?  This listing is all about nyah nyah!  This is about the 1977 Mercury Records label (SRM 1-1126) release by the Runaways, "Queens of Noise".  Now there were a lot of complaints about the Runaways, but one that was always easily shot down was "oh, they couldn't really play".  Bullcookies.  They could hang in with a lot of other bands!  And this LP has the original line-up!  Not just with Cherie Currie, but even has Jackie Blue on it!  It wasn't that the Runaways couldn't play, the only problem with the music was-there was never enough material!  Just check out all the picture discs, and the bootlegs, and pretty much any LP with Vicki Blue on it...it's the same songs!  This one though?  Heck, this doesn't even have Cherry Bomb or Saturday Night Special on it!  Fowley just didn't give enough room for the writing to develop, he was so heavy into the image, though with his musical background, with the Runaways...you always hoped for a little more.  This is pretty much the idea of more-for them.  The pigeonholing hadn't quite begun...but it wasn't far off.
This LP has been played, it has been enjoyed, and the only reason I am selling it is...I got another copy.  This record, the vinyl does have some light marks on it.  But there are no major scratches on it.  It could stand some cleaning.  I just don't have the will to do it. The marks on the grooves do not catch my finger when dragged ever-so-lightly across it, and it has played fine for me all these years.  However, the marks are there, they are visible, record gets my E-.  My E-, not G*ldmine. Please see my gradings below (don't worry, it's not 4 pages).   The cover is holding up well, the shrink wrap is still on the cover, and the only real ding is at the top of the opening.  Both front and back.  This is NOT a cut out!  Cover gets my E.

In case anyone's wondering, here is my scale for grading.  M - Mint.  Reserved for still factory sealed.  N- Near Mint, opened, no marks whatsoever.  E+, no marks other than a smudge that i'm too lazy to clean.  E, a light mark or 2, probably won't affect play. (why "probably"?  Because everyone claims their hearing is better than the next persons'.) E-, marks or wear that will cause a little audible affectation.  V+, wear that will cause some distortion of some type.  V, V-, P, well, you get the picture.

Oh yes, this one also has the insert/lyric sheet enclosed as well.  If anyone asks, or needs to see, I will gladly add a pic to the ones I already put up.  And no, there's no extra charge for the insert.  Inserts go for that much on ebay?  woah.

All items I sell will be sent with a copy of the sale form, printed up from eBay.  I will not "mark item as a gift", just so you can evade import rules.  The people at my post office know me, and they will check overseas packages for inspection.  If you cannot comply with that, please do not bid.

Also, international bidders, the price listed for postage on my listings are for domestic mailing.  I wish I could send overseas for that price, but reality speaks different.  I place a fair price on all international postage.  Watch for the invoice if you win.

All items that are sent to a U.S. address will have delivery confirmation (at my cost) attached, as I have found that it helps...a lot!....to ensure that packages are truly en route to the customer.  This is for both of our sakes.  I will be using USPS "Media Mail" as my primary shipping method, however, if needed, and for an extra charge, I can ship with "Priority Mail", and if i can get away with it for the price, I really like 1st Class, but that's weight-dependent.

Oh yes, if you are the winning bidder, and you are in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I'm afraid you are going to have to fork over the 5% Virginia State Sales Tax.

Okay, so this is my 2nd Runaways listing the past few weeks, and I have been asked a few times if I saw the movie.  Nope.  I haven't been to/rented a movie in over 4 years.  Plus, I've already met Joan Jett, a few times, and she is as nice & down to earth as it gets. Plus, she is a fellow O's fan!

But geezlouuuuiizzzeee........sorry anyone who takes offense at my pricing (not really...nyah again!) but one of the beauty things about listing something in a lower condition like this...i can list it with a low opening bid.  The whole thing, LP, cover, and insert...for less than the price of...oh, i dunno, about a 1/3 of this package elsewhere!  You make the decision.  I love playing with fire....fi-rrrrrrreeee!!!!
