Description
RUSH – ARCHIVES 1978 U.S. Mercury 3-LP Compilation • SRM-3-9200
Rush Archives brings together the band’s first three studio albums—Rush, Fly by Night and Caress of Steel—in one substantial three-record collection. It traces Rush’s rapid development from the heavy, guitar-driven sound of the debut through the arrival of Neil Peart and the increasingly ambitious progressive-rock direction that followed.
This complete three-LP set has been ultrasonic cleaned and fully play graded. Other than a very small number of isolated pops and light crackle, the three records sound excellent throughout. For a listener who wants the band’s formative period in one package, this is an enjoyable and affordable way to own three essential early Rush albums.
Condition
Vinyl – VG+ Overall
Ultrasonic cleaned and fully play graded. Other than a very small number of isolated pops and light crackle, the three records sound excellent throughout. The vinyl retains attractive gloss with scattered light sleeve marks and hairlines consistent with careful vintage use. No skips or repeats were encountered during play grading.
Multi-Panel Cover – VG-
The cover is complete and structurally intact but shows substantial cosmetic wear. There is pronounced ring wear, broad surface rubbing and scuffing, edge and corner wear, small creases and abrasions, and some interior age discoloration. The interior artwork, album information and band portraits remain present and readable. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
