Russ Columbo's last recording session took place on August 31, 1934; he concluded with the song, "I See Two Lovers." He died 2 days later on September 2, 1934 at the age of 26 from an accidental gunshot wound. This record would have been his last recording.

I played the record once,* using a new needle to make sure it was actually the song penciled on the label. It sounded great and cosmetically this record is in very good condition! The sleeve is split up one side.

This original proof record was purchased from the estate of a long time RCA Victor employee who knew many of the early recording artists and had a very large record collection.

This is a very rare opportunity to own one of Russ Columbo's final studio recordings. I am not a record expert so please feel free to email me with any questions.
