We’ve dealt with hundreds of rare Russian soviet imports over the years, But these are some of the cleanest, best quality we’ve ever seen.
Cover is excellent plus. Would be near mint, but you can see the shape of the vinyl through the cover. Not surprising given how light the paper used on the cover Is.
Vinyl is near mint
These are the famous Anton Russian printings, which were a sub print of the legendary melodiya a record label. This is the cleanest version of houses of the holy we’ve seen.
Please note there are a few differences with these. The sleeves are generally made out of heavy paper, rather than cardboard and have slight variations on the original design, which can make for an interesting game of spot the difference.
Also please remember these are not UK factory first pressings, And you shouldn’t expect that kind of sound quality, but they do sound great in my opinion.
additionally, some of these have the folded paper insert, rather than an inner sleeve. One of the ways to tell if they’re original Anton pressings. This one has a slight tear. Not unusual as these are great ways to store your record. I recommend getting yourself a nice in a sleeve and put it in that.
Ideal for the Led Zeppelin fan who thinks they have everything, these are approaching 30 years old and you’re not gonna find one in better condition.
