You're looking at the extremely rare / limited edition 15LP Ryan Adams 'Live after Deaf' box set in near mint condition + the original (unused) digital download card.
I have only played Side A of LP 1 which is in near mint condition. It has no fingerprints or marks of any kind. Side B of LP 1 and the remaining 14 LP's are un-played and are in "as new" (mint) condition.
In case you don't already know… this super deluxe box features 15 discs of vinyl packaged in a heavyweight cloth box, it features 144 performances on vinyl with a download card featuring all the vinyl tracks along with 74 digital-only bonus tracks – adding up to a staggering 218 unreleased performances total.
The back story…. Following a break from live performance that lasted several years, Ryan Adams’ return to the stage began with a 15-date European tour in June of 2011. Sandwiched between the recording of “Ashes And Fire” and the album’s release, the tour featured Adams performing solo acoustic with set lists featuring tracks from across his career – from Whiskeytown through his early solo work and his albums with The Cardinals and his then-unreleased material from “Ashes and Fire”…allowing him to reconnect with his fans and stretch out within his own catalogue.
This is the box set that crashed the PAX-AM Records website on the hour of it's release. Ha!
Why are we selling this Ryan Adams treasure?
Well, it's been over a year since it landed and we've realized we have only played one side of one LP once… Almost a crime in itself! We went absolutely gaga over this box set in the lead up to it's release, having not long seen him on this very tour at The Sydney Opera House…. what a show! Very reluctant decision to let it go but it just doesn't make sense keeping it when so many people missed out. We're also trying to make some extra room in our vinyl shelves as we are downsizing.
Cosmetic condition is super nice with very few signs of any wear at all.. it has literally sat on our vinyl shelf the last 12 months and was played just the one time the day we got it. (Side A of LP 1 that is.) The cloth has a few light marks and the track listing print out on the back of the box set has a creased corner and a slight lift on the lower edge (see photos)… this is how the box set was delivered actually. Very minor really.
It will be shipped in it's original packing box and plastic wrap. This box is rock solid, double boxed in fact, it landed perfectly here from the USA so I'm sure it will make it to the winner in the condition it is now. Pickup is from Newcastle NSW during business hours or I can post Australia wide… this box is HEAVY at approx 5-6KG!!… please ignore the calculator and send me your postcode for an accurate courier quote.
