Alle parole "Putain de film" questa fascia risponde con "Putain de musique! (firmato, N.d. R.) Gainsbourg. Stato perfetto, potete vederla nell'immagine n° 1 ed anche in quella del retro anche se è semplicemente bianca.

Condition : cover & vinyl are flawless, MINT- / Comes with the original advertising strip for the promotion of the album. At the words "Putain de film" it replies with "Putain de musique! (signed, Ed) Gainsbourg. Perfect condition, you can see it in the image No. 1 and also in that of the back even if it's just white.

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : davvero una bella colonna sonora con alcune eccentricità sia di carattere formale che strettamente musicale. I titoli dei brani sono tutti giocati sulla parola francese "travelo" ossia travestito che dà il titolo ad un solo brano. Altrimenti si va da "Travelling" a "Travaux" o "Travelinge" e così via. Ho sopra parlato di estrosità musicale ma forse meglio avrei potuto definirla come originalità compositiva come da sempre Gainsbourg/Gainsbarre ci ha abituato. Come non restare insensibili e piacevolmente meravigliati ascoltando "Travelure" (a6) con l'ottima chitarra e le frasi in Inglese dette da Slim Pezin (sebbene non accreditato) utilizzate come fossero uno strumento musicale in perfetta simbiosi con con la musica e dando vita ad una grande esecuzione soul rock. Poi "Travaux" (a5) dal ritmo molto vivace ed ossessivo con grande chitarra elettrica, ottima batteria e basso e la partecipazione nella seconda parte di una tromba dai suoni distorti e sconvolgenti. Diverse tracce sono caratterizzate dalle sole note del pianoforte dai suoni classici e con breve durata. "Travers" (b2) è un indiavolato brano ballabile guidato da organo, percussioni e batteria con improvvisazioni sorprendenti della tromba. Il tema principale "Travelling" (a1), che ha anche due altre versioni (b1 e b6) presenta un ritmo abbastanza vivace con pianoforte, basso e batteria a metà tra la musica "for the road" e la ballata malinconica.

I titoli dei dodici brani possono esser letti guardando il retrocopertina raffigurato nella scansione n° 2.

Notes : really a nice soundtrack with some eccentricity both for its formal nature and even purely musical. The titles of the tracks are all based on the French word "travelo" namely transvestite which, however, gives the title to a only one piece. Otherwise we go by "Travelling" to "Travaux" or "Travelinge" and so on. I talked above of musical eccentricity but maybe I could better define it as a compositional originality as always Gainsbourg / Gainsbarre has accustomed us. How not to remain indifferent and pleasantly amazed listening "Travelure" (a6) with an excellent guitar and English sentences said by Slim Pezin (though uncredited) used as a musical instrument in perfect harmony with the music and creating a great soul rock performance ? Then "Travaux" (a5) from the very lively and obsessive rhythm with great electric guitar, drums and bass and the excellent participation in the second part of a trumpet from the distorted and shocking sonorities. Several tracks are characterized only by piano music from the classical nature and short-lived. "Travers" (b2) is a frenzied dance tune led by organ, percussion and drums with amazing improvisations of the trumpet. The main theme "Travelling" (a1), which also has two other versions, (b1 and b6) holds a fairly lively rhythm with piano, bass and drums midway between the music for the road and the melancholy ballad.

The titles of twelve tracks can be read looking at the back cover depicted in the scan No. 2.
