Description: Sabu Martinez was neither the first nor the last afro-cuban percussionist in the world, but surely a lot of people will agree on him being the best.

Sabu made appearances or recorded with jazz giants such as Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, JJ Johnson, Louis Bellson, Horace Silver, Buddy DeFranco and Art Blakey.

A few years before the release of AFRO TEMPLE, Sabu moved upnorth to the
Dalecarlia area of Sweden were rumours said he had created a "Percussion
Musical"!!!. It was almost an out-of-the-body experience to hear the entire musical called
THE LATIN PERCUSSION PEOPLE!
This album also includes unique and never before released tracks with
Sabu´s Freak Out Hammond organ quartet named THE FAR OUT GANG and his
superior 24 piece orchestra BJÖRBOBANDET!

This coloured LP is limited to 300 copies. This LP comes with a 32 page book including hundreds of unseen photos and the entire and true story about Sabu´s years in Sweden. The printed innersleeve and laminated front and dry backside. Just as the LPs from the glory 1960s.

The LP looks unplayed and the sleeve is still in shrink.
