ARTIST: SACRED COWBOYS -
TITLE: "BANGKOK" / "LIMBO JIG
FORMAT: …vinyl 7" single… LABEL: (on their own un-named label) .
CAT. #: (SC-001) .
DATE OF RELEASE: JULY 1993 .
PRESSED IN: AUSTRALIA .
This was ONLY available from the band itself...has plain white labels and came in plain white die-cut paper sleeve...and initial copies came inside a coloured paper 'sandwich' bag (this one was gotten at the FIRST gig it was ever available at, in Melbourne - forget venue, but they announced that they had it available for the first time, and they had about 50 of them in bags like this, at a desk afterwards)...bag has become a bit tattered (and torn) on the top opening edge over the years...but the vinyl has remained VERY close to mint.
Musically? - it's an incredible version of Chilton's "Bangkok" with much more menace and loathing that Chilton's original, while "Limbo Jig" is pure swampy menace along the lines of the Gun Club's "Miami"-era stuff...perhaps a tad more primitive even - just the way we like it!
CONDITION:
- / RECORD: ( - / M- )...has a couple of very light marks ONLY...plays perfectly...
LABELS: ( Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...
